How do I decolonize myself? 😭

Learn about our pre-colonial history to know who we are and know who our colonizers are.. They are wolves in sheep's clothing, they are masters of psy-ops, thats why they are able to colonize our minds long after they have physically gone. Know your roots; it will be an anchor to keep you steady in the brewing storm and a compass to know which side you should be on.

Analyze your own self. Could we really depend on the history? Aswer that. Are we going to be expected to speak Chinese too later on or we live our lives now teaching them more about Filipinos- people, language & the culture? Or we are teaching Chinese first while using us, or make them make our nose bleed take biggest risks, or we only speak now our own language to possibly end all the issues since we already understand each other without any language barrier?

How long do we want to suffer when we can all negotiate with ourselves when to decide? Who is learning the Chinese language now, can you be honest? Stay in the Philippines to prove your are loyal to your country. If you're teaching the Chinese English by how you speak now, you are making your own country and heritage as the last priority. Do what you want- today, tomorrow whennn (more powerrr).

I'm sorry but I don't think I understand your point with regards to what was said. I think you are making arguments and asking questions that are off the rail. You are missing the point. Or perhaps you have a point but you are definitely not expressing it intelligibly.

Being patriotic or loyal to one's country is more than just being physically there. Just like there are many Filipinos living in the Philippines who betray the country and their fellow Filipinos by giving up our sovereignty and surrendering to foreign powers. One can be out and away from one's country yet remain defending it and fighting for the homeland and the Filipino's god given rights.

How can we move forward to the right direction if we don't even know our beginnings? What are you fighting for? How can a tree withstand the storm if it only grew shallow roots? Our roots are our history. We learn our lessons from the past, from the great people who have died defending the truth and their country. We take our learnings from the past so we can prepare for what's to come.
